New Look and Etsy Reopening!

I worked along with my class at CPCC this Spring and created a refreshed identity for my business. It is soft and hand drawn and approachable. While this feeling isn't necessarily a hallmark of my work, I hope it does describe my personality and my clients' experience of working with me. Over the past eight years since I decided to pursue motherhood, McSwain Design has been a comfort and an outlet for me. Creating new and exciting work for clients has keep my brain working in a technical way. Working on mechanical drawings and simple redesigns have given my hands something to do when my mind was filled with kindergarten choices and birthday parties.
Being able to engage in the design world by designing, photographing, and for the last three years, teaching, has made this staying home journey so complete. Yes, it's created some super late nights and afternoons of craziness with deadlines and big projects. But it has also allowed for field trips and pool days and sitting out on the driveway watching kids ride bikes. I am honored to be able to do all these "jobs" that I do and thankful for the opportunity to split my time between the things I love.
So, that's my story. With this little rebrand, I look forward to working on corporate jobs and my share of celebrations in my etsy shop. Thank you for joining me on this journey.
