Jennifer balances her busy working life as a nurse and pattern designer with a busy family life as well. Her daughter, Sam, was born with Spina Bifida. Each day for them holds challenges that I can't even imagine. Samantha is such a sweet girl who seems to cope so well with her pink walking sticks. The family is currently raising money to travel to China this summer. There they would be able to get treatments for Samantha that could allow her to walk without help and gain other important functions. I was honored to help create some materials for this worthy cause. Donate to help Samantha walk here and follow her progress on her blog here.

Hello! I'm updating my website (and my way of thinking) this month. I'm finally catching on that I need to integrate all the varied ways I use the web, and in turn hopefully drive more traffic to my business. I loved my flash website, but it finally has become obsolete. The blog format is really the way I interact with the web via my business, so it makes sense to grow here! Leave me a quick comment when you visit. I'd love to hear from you (and I'm using you in the singular sense, crossing my fingers that there are two of you :) ). Cheers!

Happy New Year! I'm really excited to get back to working and seeing what this new year will hold. Some new custom invitation designs were posted to my etsy shop today. I really love working on these and seeing the kids faces when they are getting just the party they want. There are only so many years when they will want to make such a big deal over their birthdays and let their moms go crazy with a theme. I'm making the most of it.
I've already been working on some corporate jobs in this first week of the 2012 and still enjoying that too! It's really great to have a balance between fun projects, corporate design work and my work here at home. I'm blessed!
