With little ones in the house, I've learned to appreciate the artistry of children's books. Actually, I've always loved them and have amassed quite a collection over the years. I have never been much of an illustrator, but I so admire the way an illustrator can tell a story through pictures. One of our favorites around here is Curious George by Margaret and H. A. Rey. We actually saw Curious George LIVE last Friday night. It was a far cry from the quality of the books and tv show on PBS. In New York a new exhibit is opening at the Jewish Museum to showcase the lives of Margaret and H. A. Rey. Check out the exhibit here and a super cool timeline of their escape on bicycle as the Nazi's invaded Paris.
